1. Overview

TareekPe ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TareekPe web and mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. By using our service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

  • Phone number. Used for OTP-based authentication. We do not share your phone number with third parties except to deliver WhatsApp notifications you have opted into.
  • Email address (optional). Provided by you if you choose to receive email alerts. Used solely to send case status notifications.
  • Court case details. The court name, case type, and CNR numbers you add to track. This data is stored to enable case monitoring.
  • Push notification token. A device token generated by your browser or mobile OS when you enable push notifications. Used only to deliver notifications to your device.
  • Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details — only the transaction ID and subscription status returned by Razorpay.
  • Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, error traces) retained for up to 30 days for debugging and security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate you and maintain your account session.
  • Monitor your registered court cases on the public eCourts portal and send you alerts when the status changes.
  • Send hearing reminders via WhatsApp, email, or push notification per your preferences.
  • Process and manage your subscription plan.
  • Investigate bugs, security incidents, and abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and case records are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised analytics may be retained longer.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent for notifications at any time from Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
